The Science Outreach Magazine “I am Meta” is published

In cooperation between school students from Schleswig-Holstein, the Leibniz-Institute for Science and Mathematics Education (IPN) and the Kiel Science Outreach Campus (KiSOC) the outreach magazine “I am Meta” has been developed. Scientists of CRC made contributions and it gives an insight about the work in CRC 1182.

The magazine serves as an outreach format with the aim of science communication for adolescents. It addresses multiplicators to reach out to a broader audience for promoting work and research results of CRC 1182. The outreach is increased by an additional online edition (Download PDF).

The magazines content is based on professional articles, which are target group-reviewed by high school students, interviews from scientists by students and continuative information about CRC 1182 and Meta. By this, readers are able to make experiences about an ongoing research field and understand more about how science works.
