CRC 1182 Creativity Award
The CRC 1182 recently awardes the Creativity Awards in the categories “Art and Science Communication” and “Novel Scientific Ideas”.
The awards are intended “to recognize the creativity of junior CRC 1182 members whose work captivates key research issues of the CRC1182 and inspires the community by both demonstrating the fundamental role of beneficial microbes and pushing boundaries”. The two award winners this year are Lara Schmittmann and Lucas Moitinho-Silva.
To give the event a little more color in these rather grey days, and to add weigth to the importance of new and innovative ways of communicating scientific complexity, we were happy and honored to have a very special guest from Berlin with us: Barbara Geiger from ‘Fräulein Brehms Tierleben’.
