SymbNET PhD Project Award

Call for submissions: 30th April 2021 – 11th June 2021

The SymbNET PhD Project Award funds the best collaborative research project written by a PhD student in the context of SymbNET. The award aims to promote collaborative research in Host-Microbe Symbiosis, Genomics, Metabolomics and Proteomics, by PhD students.

This prize awards 4,000€ to develop a research project and can additionally cover a secondment of one month in the partner institution.

PhD students from all SymbNET institutions – IGC (Instituto Gulbenkian de Ciência), EMBL (European Molecular Biology Laboratory), CAU (Christian-Albrechts-Universität zu Kiel), UNIL (Université de Lausanne), and ITQB NOVA (Instituto de Tecnologia Química e Biológica) – are eligible to apply.
