Marc Bramkamp: Imaging Workshop (online)

Dear members of the CRC 1182,

The Central Microscopy Facility (ZM) invites all members of the CRC to a microscopy workshop on June 8 from 13:00 to 16:00 pm.

Our facility is home to light and electron microscopy and possibilities for each will be discussed.

Light microscopy technologies have made substantial progress in recent years. Superresolution light microscopy techniques are available that use different strategies to circumvent the optical resolution limit. We will introduce different techniques and describe the strength and bottlenecks for various scientific applications. Electron microscopic techniques that are available in the facility will be presented and illustrated with examples from recent projects performed by the facility.

The workshop will start with a presentation given by Urska Repnik (ZM) and Marc Bramkamp (Microbial Biochemistry and Cell Biology). After the presentation, we would be happy to discuss how the facility could support and contribute to your CRC projects.

We are looking forward to seeing many of you online.
