CRC 1182 at MNU Autumn Conference for STEM Teachers

As part of the outreach activities within the Collaborative Research Centre, Martina Kapitza presented the current draft of a teaching unit on digestion and nutrition at the recent MNU Autumn Conference, an event for STEM teachers. The presentation included an introduction to the lesson scenario featuring the fictional character Meta, which serves as a narrative and conceptual guide for students.

The session led to engaging and productive discussions with participating teachers. Many expressed a strong interest in the teaching unit and associated materials, emphasizing their willingness to integrate current research-based approaches into their classrooms. The feedback was highly encouraging and offered valuable input for the continued development and refinement of the unit.
