SymbNET Career Development Event for PhD Students (online)
An online event where PhD students will meet two Group Leaders at different stages of their careers and have the opportunity to discuss with them topics such as:
- the paths that led them to their current positions;
- how they achieved their career goals;
- how to decide on which post-doc to do after a PhD and how this decision may define the transition to PI level;
- the soft skills needed to be a successful PI and the importance of starting to invest in developing and exercising those ahead of time.
